If you are one of our member organizations that now has its own collection, your organization has the ability to curate a selection of uploads to KCWorks. Organizations can create as many additional collections as they wish within KCWorks, but they are automatically assigned one collection for all uploads.
As an administrator, you have the ability to:
- Create collections by topic, author, or even from uploads outside your organizations and share them with your organization or the public.
- Edit the landing page for each collection that can provide publicly visible information, describe curation policy, list publicly visible members, etc. as well as letting collection administrators control collection visibility, review policy, etc.
- Set the review policy to allow certain collection members (e.g., curators) to publish directly to the collection without review approval. Permissions information can be found in this guide.
- Use the in-app review workflow allowing collection admins to view submissions, engage uploaders in a dialogue, edit the submitted material, and either accept or reject the submission (guide coming soon!). You can also have a record of past submission requests and their discussions.
