We accept files of all types, however files that are .exe and other executables are discouraged. We've built our recommended formats list in part using the Library of Congress Recommended Formats Statement and the Smithsonian Recommended Formats for Electronic Records. Types in bold are the preferred type for that content. Deposits may contain a file or group of files up to 500GB per work.
