Update any bookmarks or saved links to avoid future issues.
To change the password on a local Commons account, follow the steps below:
- Click on Log in
- Click on the Knowledge Commons logo
- Do not enter your Username/Password
- Click on "Forgot password?"
- On the screen presented, enter your Username and press search.
- You should see a screen that asks for a code and says "To verify your identity, a security code has been sent to you. Please click the link in the email or copy and paste the security code here."
- Get the code from the email, paste it in the box, and click "check code"
- It should prompt you to select a username and then set your new password
